FreeSSL are GeoTrust certs.

I want to see https:// on any online transaction I am doing, and I
typically double check the company name I am buying from (if I do not
recognize them) by doing a quick google search on them.

Secure certs and dedicated IP's are a small price to pay if you plan on
doing online transactions.
Secure certificates for a single domain shouldn't cost anymore than $99
a year, and I consider that high.
95% of your online customers are not going to click on the verify button
- so paying the extra $50 for a true business cert seems a waste of
money to me.
But, as usual, YMMV

:)

Cheers,
Erika
