By this argument, we could exclude any group from children's telivision. Only show black people if you want to explicitly talk about race relations. Only show Jewish people if you are going to explicitly talk about religious tolerance. Only show citrus farmers if you're going to talk about the four food groups. It feels like you are setting homosexuality in a category all by itself, rather than just another tolerance issue in everyday life. I think a saner and healthier way to deal with it is to show homosexual relationships but *not* make a big deal out of it by highlighting it or going into depth about it.
