Naw. Flightless birds don't have those big wing surfaces to contend with when 
being thrown, and tend to have much more mass to throw.

Regular birds don't skid well on snow, always good for some extra yardage.

Emus are tougher to throw, but if you use a good spinning discus technique, and 
hold both legs together, they go pretty good. And they sound funny.
