haven't researched it heavily, but scottrade.com looks to be a decent site. Don't require a large deposit to open an account ($500, where i've seen others require $2000). $7 trades as well.
i've been looking to open one myself, and I'll likely go with them when I have some extra funds available (hopefully soon).
