what numbers? You posted a list. Your logic appears to be that if there is at least one woman CEO, then women are not discriminated against. And the same for minorities!
It simply isn't so. I have not really wanted to get into the details of my personal experience because I don't like to think of myself in terms of being the victim and being done to, but let me share with you that when I changed my major to computer science the school sent me to a counselor for personality testing. Do you really think this would have happened if I had wanted to change it to art history? Nobody asked me if I was sure about my major when I took French lit at AU.... I still haven't looked for that transcript, but here is another point of view: http://www.aauw.org/research/tenuredenied.cfm Dana On Sun, 30 Jan 2005 21:47:56 -0400, Angel Stewart <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Larry posted the results of the study that sent out resumes where the ones > with non white sounding names but identical resumes were > refused the interview. > > You're just unwilling to face the truth. > > You put forward the completely disingenuous front that non white people in > America have the same oppurtunities and acceptance as > white people.
