Having been a spoiled Northeaster with NYC cuisine a hop away and good delis and pizzerias, I was not expecting to be so pleased with British food. The pubs especially have great food and there's many a good restaurant and take-a-away. Food stores offer a variety of really good beef and cheeses and veggies.
