I asked an ex-cop I know, and here's the basics:
A warning will show up on their Big Brother machine if it was within a
certain time period (he thought 3 months) AND the issuing officer
finished the paperwork to get it into the system.
Often, however, written warnings aren't entered into the system at all
-- just used as a wrist-slapping kind of thing.

My question is, why don't you just stop doing things that will get you
ticketed? :-)
