Hi Tyler,

I learned ASP.NET within the last year and have no regrets. I worked
with ASP before but mostly CF. I think it's a great idea to diversify
your skills as much as possible .It will make you more marketable if
nothing else.

I did do my certification for ASP.NET . It took me about three months
for the MCP. For me if was a good motivator to make me dig deep into
the subject. In the process I learned alot about OO programming.
Although, I cannot say that I am a full fledged OO designer, I can
easily understand and learn from open source code available. I chose
to use C# because of it's similarity to Java. Now when I look at Java
code it makes a lot more sense to me and able to understand it. And
best of all I can apply those concepts to CF as well.

I read a lot of OO programming article with Cold Fusion and it gave me
a good idea. But doing it in a "real" OO language made it much easier.
