You can't avoid a plane - you're screwed. You can follow some rules
of thumb though:

(1.) Use a good set of techniques. For example, don't drive faster
than traffic unless you have a "runner".

A runner is a guy in an SUV who's eager to prove how much faster or
bigger he is than you. Taunt him until he passes you and then set
your cruise for 1mph lower than his. Every few miles or so speed up
briefly to maintain the gap. He'll drive fast because his ego won't
let him allow you to pass.

Watch all bridge overpasses and on ramps; pass packs of cars very
wearily - they usually harbor Johnny; slow down around blind corners,
hills, and turn arounds - Johnny likes these; try to stay next to
Semis - speed up to meet them and then coast for a bit before
"jumping" to the next one. Escape and evade!

(2.) If you're into speeding you'll need the full compliment of
electronic countermeasures.

(2.A.) a GOOD radar detector. There are only 2: the new Escort
Passport 8500 X50 or the Valentine 1. Remote mount them or hardwire
the power and put them above your rearview mirror so nobody will see
it.

(2.B.) A LASER "shifter". You can buy one that plugs into the X50.

(2.C) There is no such thing as a radar jammer.

(3.) Know how to act during a stop. Always go to court, let the
prosecutor know you'll fight the ticket, ask for a continuance for
dismissal. Know how they got you - ask the officer for the RADAR
model and his methodology, etc. For planes, figure out the weather
conditions, parallax problems, etc.
