i'd wager that your opinion regarding it being "still not as good as opera" is due largely in part to your familiarity and comfort with Opera.
i went from IE to FF (i can count on one hand the # of times i've used Opera), and I can guarantee you that if i went from FF to Opera, it would feel "weird" just because it's a new environment. I had that same feeling going from IE to FF. I obviously can't say that FF is better or worse than Opera, since I'm really unfamiliar with the latter (have just used it to test sites).
