To add in my .02 cents...

  I liked Phantom Menace.  I think a lot of the criticism it got was not 
deserved, such as "It was intended for kids."  I can't believe anyone would 
say that Phantom Menace was more kid-oriented movie than first trilogy.  I 
don't think it was as good as any in the first trilogy (for various 
reasons), but I don't think it was bad, either.  Jar Jar was a little hard 
to understand at times, but I didn't find him an offensive character, nor 
should he have been the scapegoat for the moving being "bad".


  I didn't like:

Moulin Rouge:   Very artsy and hard to follow.  I never got through the 
whole thing.

O Brother Where Art Though.  ( See above)

Lost in Translation:  I thought it was boring.



  Someone else mentioned Chronicles of Riddick.  I thought they did a good 
job if tying the first and second movies together.  My only additional 
thought there is that the first hour of the movie was like watching a 
strobe light, w/ all the explosions and stuff going on.
