I worked for a place that I had to be 100% billable at. If my boss couldn't provide work I had to beg for work from other supervisors. Luckily, I was able to quit quite quickly. No training. No development time. This company is on its last legs and I am waiting with baited breath for it to fail. I now work non-profit, make more money, have incredible benefits (6 weeks leave a year, which is pretty much unheard of in the us). I am not doing the most exciting or cutting edge work but quite frankly, I can be as cutting edge as I have the initiative to be.
Paul, there are BETTER places to work. I promise. > -----Original Message----- > From: Larry Lyons [SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Wednesday, November 14, 2001 12:08 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: got a new boss today > > Let me get this straight, you're a programmer right.
