My ex-stepsister EvilKim got sent home once from an assignment at an
association for showing up with bare legs. This is why Washington is
considered a fashion Siberia. Too many stuffy old-guard types, but not for
long.

Before I started here, it was much the same at the medical school I worked
at in the District. Then I started here. The interview was quite
interesting, the second interviewer was wearing shorts. The first day I
worked here they told me that my business casual stuff was a bit too formal
for the office.
