I played this game with my sister's network this Xmas. She has a three level brownstone, and wanted the router in the bottom front corner, and needed access to surf in bed in the back top corner. The Linksys G router wouldn't work going in that direction with a very reliable connection. We swapped it (router in top back) and it's working fine, apparently. (At least she hasn't complained, though she now has her techie BF living with her.)
Remember that with the Linksys stuff, as soon as you start using a repeater of any kind, you lose WPA security.
