OK, after 36 hours of removing 100 year old paper.
that is layered on painted over paper, i have found a trick that works for me.

trim & floors should have been preped by tape/plastic.

if the old glue is dry & brittle a straight razor works well.

if it is not giving, boil some water.
while its boiling score the walls with a utility knife or tiger.

once water is hot add equal parts of water to vinegar.
spray liberally. lets stand for 20 minutes, but don't let it dry. you
want to saturate the wall paper.
give it another quick misting, wait 2 more minutes & scrap layers off
with 3" putty knife.

if there a multi layers scrape what you can, re-score paper & set again...

Most important tip!
Be patient & don't give to much advice to your spouse or friends/family.
