Yah, you're not a jerk. You left a note. There's not a whole lot else you can do. My husband did something similar a week ago today. He was stopped at a stop light, and reached back to pick up our son's dropped water cup, and his foot slipped off the brake. He rolled into the bumper of the car in front of him. There's not a scratch on our car, and he didn't see anything on her car either. But, he gave her our info anyway. So, this weekend she calls and says "there's a hole and it's all flared out." Um, okay, whatever. So, she's supposedly getting a couple of estimates and calling me back. But, it's been a week now and we haven't heard from her. *sigh* I certainly don't mind making good. But, I'm not sure how a 2mph bumper bump creates a hole and "flaring" on one vehicle and nothing on the other.
