Funny, I have special setups for various email lists. Because CF-Talk and CF-Community have such high volume, I have inbox rules that send all the mail right to my Deleted Items folder. I generally keep the email client that monitors the list open on a PC, and if I want to clean out the old messages, I just close and re-open the client and WHOOSH! all the deleted mail is gone.
We have a rather draconian (but necessary) policy at work- you can't POP an email server outside our corporate network. If I want to read/post during the day, I use the Web site. I can post, but I don't get bombed with emails all day in my office. (That's also why I occasionally respond to a post three days later or at odd hours like now). At the end of the day, everyone has to make their own path. Good luck Russell. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dana" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Community" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, March 08, 2005 3:02 PM Subject: Re: Goodbye Redux > what's disturbing?
