I like the reporter that asks the tough question. Force the person to admit, 
publicly, that they are unwilling to answer the question. Sometimes this can 
be just as damning as an unfavorable answer. But once you've gotten that, 
let it go.

What annoys me is the reporter who asks the question, then asks it again, 
then pressure the person to answer it, then asks the question again, 
then...blah blah. When you start doing this, you make yourself a part of 
show, putting the reporter at the center of the attention, instead of the 
question.
