Why else do you think that a small Western Canadian University had such a great fencing team. The other part of it would be that they'd try the same to us when we were at US schools at tournaments. 6 or 7 beer later we'd still be standing and heading back to the hotel. The next morning we'd be functional enough to still beat the tar out of the other schools.
