Mine seem to have missed the vanity gene. Doran is a slob. He doesn't wash
up as often as he should and he hates it when I brush him.

And you know - this vanity is what makes me prefer dogs.  Cats are too much
like humans, vain and worried about really stupid things.  Dogs dont' care
if they have a bald neck.

Now, I DO like cats, I just prefer dogs.  If I wanted a pet human, I would
have a baby.
