I liked it until the pre-chorus where the devil-voice grumbling started. Man, I hate that crap.
I could probably tolerate it through this song because the rest kicks ass. I have always liked dual-axe attacks especially with harmony runs. It has a twinge of Metallica and Maiden in there as well. As I am writing this, I got to the break with the double-bass "clickers". I really hated when Metallica, on their sell-out Justice for All album, used too much treble on their bass drums. It sounds like Saran wrap around a hoola-hoop. Hell, I want to *feel* the bass drums, I don't want hear a bunch of clicking. If I want to hear that I'll put a playing card in the spokes of my bike. Fix the mix and it would improve in my opinion. Other than those commonly-annoying things, this sample song was pretty good. They are not on iTunes yet, unfortunately.
