Sam's Club is an arm of Walmart, I noticed that they did not have much stuff from local companies. Costco in this area supports local firms a lot. As for prices, they about the same. Our local costco is just 3 blocks away, Sam's Club is at the other end of the county. In terms of the food, I've preferred Costco. Its a bit cheaper and the qualityis about the same.
