Its an ideology regarding the "original intent" of the writers of the constitution. Its a political approach to the constitution that's been pushed by Judge Bork and Supreme Court Justice Scalia. Essentially an interpretation fo the Constitution is made under the ageis of whad did the original framers of the constitution intend.
