Who cares if he didnt go into combat at least he didnt lie about what he did.
It was probably more dangerous back then to fly patrols over texas then it was
for the bombers bombing Iraq, so does that make it any less? My uncle got back
from Iraq yesterday and hes 62 years old, servered as an mp at a base but
because he didnt carry a weapon into the battle for Bagdad are you gunna
discredit and say what he did wasn't important too?

Maybe he knew he had a better calling and needed to stay alive, like to be our
president and the other did not??? ;)

Dont get me wrong, I really don't like bush that much but he's much better
than kerry would have been. Maybe I was around to many military personel during
the elections too much but those military personel sure didn't like Kerry at
all.

The sad truth is that we didn't have a real good choice in this election or
really the last but all this "he's not our president" is a bunch of
crap.........
Funny thing is these same ppl would be bitching if Kerry won to cause thats
what they do.

If Kerry woulda won, we'd probably be getting our asses kicked and be on the
edge of being taken over by Tahiti about now......

The details are a big red herring. We'll never know what really
happened so let's focus on the facts that aren't hearsay:

1.) Mr. Kerry volunteered for 2 tours of Vietnam, 1 of them combat.
2.) Mr. Kerry was issued a weapon and sent into combat in enemy territory.

3.) Mr. Bush did not volunteer for Vietnam nor combat.
4.) Mr. Bush actively sought and secured a scarce National Guard posting.
5.) Mr. Bush's wartime military service was, by his choice, confined
to flying aircraft over Texas.
