Who isn't?!  Some creepy plastic head guy standing outside your
bedroom window!  Freaky.

I'll give them this though, I think brand awareness is up and the
commercials seem targeted to the right segment, but I think they need
to add a hip factor or something.

McDonalds excels because it's a family place and they sell consistancy
(the world over, usually the potties are fairly clean :).  Wendy's has
hit the fresh angle and added differentiating food lines.  BK just
doesn't seem to have a hook yet.  The new sandwiches are ok, but I
think they need a better identity.

I believe it's Bain Cap and TPG that bought them and TPG brought in a
young turn around master from the airlines who's been in place for
about a year now.  They're getting a good start, but a creepy plastic
head guy isn't a good identity.

It's time for step 2.
