I suppose since I thought you were being more aggressive than you
actually are, I should back off a bit.  I had thought you were in favor
of eliminating wandering pets.  My bad, sorry.

However, it still doesn't seem unreasonable to me to allow cats, dogs,
etc. to wander around so long as they aren't causing property damage.
Yeah, if the dog is digging up your roses, the owner should be informed
and should take steps.  However, if he's just sunning himself in your
backyard, I don't see what the problem is.
