Wow, that is some crazy stereotyping, and I mean big time. If you look at the conservatives, or at least the people that tend to vote republican, you find that the majority of them are lower middle class. They don't live in gated communities. Hell in Lexington Kentucky, a town that is almost all conservative I don't even think there is a gated community. The state of Kentucky, which is very conservative, is a poorer state, we don't have real suburbs at all.
The major fancy neighborhoods, the ones with the big houses and the nice cars, almost always have signs out for democrats come election season. The smaller homes have republican signs. If you get the national data, and compare based on income, democrats tend to make more money than republicans. -----Original Message----- From: Gruss Gott [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, April 19, 2005 8:36 PM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: Why the Liberals Can't Keep Air America From Spiraling In As long as we're stereotyping to say there even is a left and right ... It's just a question of marketing. Liberals tend to dance to the beat of their own drum - they're independant. Conservatives like a dose of group think because they need to feel part of a greater whole. Look at lifestyles: conservatives tend to live in suburbs and "gated communities"; places that have associations and rules. Liberals like freedom and live in "open" communities. Hippies for example. So selling liberal talk radio is like selling an economy SUV - there just ain't a big market for it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase Homesite Plus with Dreamweaver from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=55 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:154613 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
