In the snippets I heard on Rush, he seemed to be all for Jeb's intervention 
and Congress' legislative attempts. O'Reilly certainly was not.

In your last sentence, were you referring with conservatives ability to 
compromise with EACH OTHER, or with the other party? I'd agree with the 
former, but not the latter.
