I dunno, maybe I'm wrong, but in the suburbs around here there's unprotected networks all over the place and I use them all of the time. My wife has a cell card for access but it's only 56k so when we go house hunting we just bring a laptop and connect to any of the 20 networks in the area we're in. I just set up my brother's and he wanted me to leave it open so neighbors could connect if they needed to; I did change the SSID to leftbun though. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:155222 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
