This is true. In my experience, most of the parents I've met have not been people I really felt should have children. Maybe I'm jaded. :) Just been what I've seen, that they tend to largely ignore their children and then when they're not ignoring them they avoid answering their questions or they fill their heads with garbage or they're constantly berating or otherwise punishing them for things that aren't worthy of any anxiety (like playing in a public place -- "Oh my god! It's a child! And they're PLAYING!"). And these are people who I consider responsible adults -- they just either are misguided (imo) or more commonly don't care to be good/involved parents. Combine that with a person who is genuinely ignorant, irrational and/or irresponsible (as previously described in this scenario with people who don't want to excercize any form of birth control other than abortion) and the end result is heaping problems on an innocent baby (whether or not they're given up for adoption - which I won't comment on, there are enough problems in the whole adoption system to have a series of entirely separate threads on that subject). s. isaac dealey 954.522.6080 new epoch : isn't it time for a change? add features without fixtures with the onTap open source framework http://www.fusiontap.com http://coldfusion.sys-con.com/author/4806Dealey.htm ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Flash for programmers - Flash MX Pro http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=56 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:156118 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
