I'd also like to point out that the notion that a 13yr fully
understands the repercutions of having unprotected sex is a bad
notion. I am 23 now and I am only begining to realize the vast
repercutions that could have been had I had a child at 14. No ammount
of education can reach a child. Seriously the child mind at 13 still
suffers from invincibility complexs; grasping the notion of having a
child as a result of unprotected sex is too complex.

In a simplistic way its like when you look at a use case for a
project and think oh that won't be too bad that is until you sit down
to do it, sure you get better with time at estimates so think back to
your very first use case. What you find is that no matter how much
training in college you had and how many professors, mentor, and
friends told you your estimates would be way too low you still thought
oh a day or 2 tops...2 weeks later you finally finished...after
countless hours of school, presumabley school you were interested in,
you still were not completely able to understand the vastness and
complexities of developing from a real life use case. What in the heck
makes anyone think a 13 yr in a class they are forced to take about
sexual activity and childcare will be able to understand and even
begin to comprehend the repercutions of unprotected sex?
