Holy crap, that show lasted that long? IMHO, Scrubs (though a comedy) is a great example of tension. There's a little tension, a little romance, then people move on and repeat the pattern with someone else. And all that time, it's not repetitive or frustrating. What a novel idea! Someone can have more than one relationship in their lifetime. :-)
