Generally a verb (and two words). The verb in that case is "log". I've nothing more than personal preference for this but my rules of thumb are: 1) You log in/out of an application while you log on/off a system. 2) When referencing the current session these are always used as verbs. "You've just logged in", "to log out...", "Logging out will...", "An error occurred while logging in" and so forth. These rules are fundamentally arbitrary. Consistency is the key, not sense. ;^) Jim Davis ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:156408 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
