Actually, the point is that any "click here to..." phrasing is just
extremely poor technical writing.

A web site, application, file, etc is the object the person wants to
interact with. And the name (noun) of that object should be the linked
label/icon. But when there is a process which needs user interaction
(eg. login/logout) then the label should be a verb.
