Ok, so my new machine just came in. It's running XP Media Center edition. I know some folks have said this is close enough to XP Pro, but I really want to just use Pro (or am I crazy - if so, tell me).
So I pop in the CD, and it tells me that XP Media Center is _newer_ than XP Pro. If I want to upgrade, I'll have to do it via a boot. I reboot, load up the CD - and it can't find my SATA drive. I have a CD of device drivers - but my machine has no floppy. What are my options? -- ======================================================================= Raymond Camden, Director of Development for Mindseye, Inc (www.mindseye.com) Member of Team Macromedia (http://www.macromedia.com/go/teammacromedia) Email : [EMAIL PROTECTED] Blog : ray.camdenfamily.com Yahoo IM : cfjedimaster "My ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is." - Yoda ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:157386 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
