I live five minutes from work. Same general region, which according to the census has about the nastiest commute in the country.
At the same time the Washington Metro is one of the nicest subway systems on the east coast. I guess the problem is that too many people want to be in this area, and the powers that be don't want to pay for the transportation upgrade. Just look at the Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore. He tried everything in his power to reduce the amount of money coming up here for transportation, and sent it down to the Richmond/tidewater areas. larry -- Larry C.
