oh, amen. I get this one a lot, as the state noticed that my local
I-40 interchange was congested and therefore began a multi-year
project to mess it up even more.... Lane closures and the occasional
detour of all I-40 through the neighborhood, yup, we get this one a
LOT.

One of my happiest moments ever was the time some years ago that I was
on 270, which was crawling due to an accident up ahead. Some little
beamer decided to to zip past me on the shoulder, only to find himself
confronting the state trooper entering from the next exit, who was
planning to use the shoulder to sort out the mess. Heheh. I never saw
a more well-deserved traffic stop.
