I think there are 2 George Lucases -- there's the George who made the first 3 films (episodes IV-VI) who was crippled by the technology and as a result was required to spend a long time thinking about the implications of his choices (and of course receiving input from others), and then there's his evil twin, the new George who can have whatever he wants by snapping his fingers and as a result puts very little thought into his creations. I suspect that the under-25's who are most impressed with the new set of films are also mostly under 15.
