You should be able to plant the seedling directly outside now ... Just
scatter the snail killer on the top of the bed after you get them
planted.

Are you fertilizing the tomatoe seedlings? I have been doing an every
other day regime of Miracle Grow to all the young plants to really get
them rooted and growing. I think it's really helped. :D
