That is the new Disney/kid's movie must-have feature. Always add a
fart, even if you have to write extra plotlines to support it. Farts
never lose their funny.

Which puts me back on my soap box...

I HATE movies, basically all new Disney movies, that supposedly tell a
story or fable set way in the past, for example, The Emporer's New
Groove. Why do they have to put in modern-day content in those movies?
These movies have current music, current dance moves, current slang and
other content that is not even remotely associated to that time period.

Do these people really want our kids to believe that cavemen sang "Do
You Love Me" or "Land of 1000 Dances"? (An exaggeration, but you get my
point.)

It seems that "The Incredibles" is an exception from the rule. Most, if
not all, of the movie seems to stay in its correct time period.

Anymore, it seems that most animated movies, for children, are just part
of the marketing machine to suck our wallets dry and quality
entertainment be damned.

I will say, however, that I'm very much looking forward to "Cars" by
Disney/Pixar next year. The trailer on "The Incredibles" looks
hilarious and the kids and I love the tow truck's snort when he laughs.

"Dadgum!"

Lucas put a computer animated donkey-thing that farts in the Phantom
Menance. There's definitely a "catering to certain audiences" going on
in episodes I and II. Only a few days left and we'll see how number
3 turns out.
