Actually, I chose my office with no outside windows just because of glare on the screen. Also, it is located far away from any other office. I only have a rarely-used conf room next to me.
This gives me the ability to crank up the music and subwoofer while I'm working. No way I could do this if I was situated next to someone. I wish my office overlooked the grassy area next to the girls' dorm. This would be very handy in the summer when the sunbathers are plenty.
