The public K-12 school system stinks, but we have some of the best K-12 private schools in the world. My daughter's school is remarkable- the kind of school I wish I had gone to when I was a kid. It's very non-traditional- no desks, for instance. They use project-based learning, and the whole atmosphere is just really cool.
