MORNING!

Head hurts...
Didn't sleep till 5:30 this morning - doing a new OS install on one of my
computers...

Very cold here too...

Some idiots decided to break into my car last night - breaking a window...
so I was standing on my driveway at 1:30 am getting my window replaced - and
the temperature was about -5 C (~25F) - very cold for here...

I don't suppose anyone on this list has got ICS to work when the machine
sharing the internet connection is a windows 2k server which is also an
active directory PDC and a therefor a local DNS server... or know why it
isn't working...

Problem I'm having is that although the autodial and connection seem to work
ok - I don't have any internet DNS from the remote box...

I can ping an external IP no probs, but if I do the same to a domain name, I
get a host not found message...

Anyway,

Good luck with that work E(K) - and you must drop in if u and P ever pop up
to Yorkshire...

cheers

Dan

Darn cold here as well ... just had to go out to my truck because I left
some CD's in there ... and BRRRRRR!

And actually, I am up because I still have shedloads of work to get finished
and ducks to put in a row before I hop on a plane next
Saturday.

Being up for Phil is just a bonus! <grin>

Besides, I knew you were around! :) Pass me a coffee please!
