10 - I'm for gun control, but this way:
1.) Only hunting weapons should be legal,
2.) To possess a hunting weapon you need a license (incl conceal-n-carry)
3.) To get a hunting license you need:
3.1) A 4 year college degree or special 2 year tech school study program,
3.2) 1 year certified gun training program diploma, and
3.3) 1 year certified program completion stamp for each animal
you want to hunt.
Each animal stamp you earned would qualify you to posess the weapon
necessary to hunt that animal. The programs would ensure weapons
proficency as well as animal knowledge and best management practices.
Home defense would be a special stamp with a similar study track.
Anyone caught with a gun under the influence of alcohol or drugs would
have their gun rights revoked forever.
