Amen. I wonder why we didn't jump all over Ethanol from corn as an
alternate fuel source -- and a way to spark some life back into the American
Farmer.

Any engineers out there have any insight into this? Is there just not
enough chemical energy yield from combustion, or is it that lack of
consumption efficiency will cause demand to outpace domestic production, or
something else?

I know fuel cells show promise, and some of the new hydrogen storage
substrates are demonstrating immense capacities, but I wonder what all that
heat and water vapor are going to do to the environment. Anyone have any
insight on this?
