As for home schooling, I have not had a lot of good impressions of home schooling. When I was teaching intro to psych, the home schoolers I ran across were dogmatic, responded entirely by rote and rarely displayed initiative,much creativity or independent thought. They expected to be told what was gospel and that was it, no thinking beyond that.
