If anyone could help me with the following problem, it would be greatly appreciated. I have a wireless network set up at home. I have a d-link 614+ router The router is connected to my PC via network cable. No problem. I have an old laptop running windows xp professional. It has a d-link dwl-G650 air plus xtremeG wireless card in it. When I have the WEP disabled, the laptop can connect with no problem. When I enable, WEP, I cannot get the laptop to connect. I must have entered the key a hundred times, but it will not latch on. The laptop detects the network fine. The signal is excellent. I have gone through several settings, but I have to be missing something.
Any suggestions.
