Tell ya what though. I am always up to trying
new drinks. How else will I know if I like it
or not, so I will pickup some Cachaca and make
it if you can tell me how much should go into it.

Per say... ounce of this, ounce of that.

Have any of you tried a Caipirinha? It's kind of a Brazilian Gimlet, and
it's made with a segmented lime that's had its pulp lightly crushed with a
tablespoon of sugar, then two ounces of Cachaca (the last "c" has a French
"swa" on it), which is a Brazilian sugarcane liquor. The whole thing is
served ice cold over crushed ice.

They say this is a truly delicious drink, and until recently it's been a
well-kept Brazilian secret. I haven't had time to go out and get some
Cachaca just yet because my car got totalled a couple of weeks ago
(*sniff!*), so I was wondering if any of you happy smiling people have ever
tried one.

A Caipirinha is about as close to Rio de Janiero as I'm going to get for a
long, long time! :(

have you tried Tom Collins?

It is a Gin drink. Uses 2 ounces of Gin
with Club soda and Sweet & Sour Mix or
you can get the Tom Collins mix which is
better than mixing it yourself.

Martini's no thanks. If you must drink gin, it should be in a gin and tonic.
