Yeah, it's actually your view of legislating morality.  For example a
social liberal would say, "hey, if a man and woman enter into a
services contract what do I care what the services are?"

A social conservative would say that it's government's role to
legislate morality - make prostitution, Gay Marriage, or s3x positions
illegal, for example.

Social liberals believe that gov't's power should protect them via the
Golden Rule or "pursuit of happiness" and that's it!

Stay out of my bedroom, and don't tell me that, from a federal level,
2 men getting married somehow endangers my marriage to wife so the
federal gov't needs to protect me.
