I don't see that as an apples-to-apples comparison. Ben achieved his "celebrity" status due to his knowledge of CF (it could be argued that he received his celebrity status due to his position with Allaire/MM...but it could also be argued that he got that position based on his knowledge of the subject). So if Ben has an opinion on something code-related, and that differs from Joe Smith's opinion...yes, I give Ben's opinion more credibility.
